BREAKING: Popular Nollywood actor Sisi Quadri dies barely a year after his mother’s death

Popular Nollywood actor, Quadri Oyebamiji, otherwise known as Sisi Quadri has died barely a year after his mother’s death.

Sources close to the deceased revealed that he died this afternoon at LAUTECH Hospital after a brief illness.

Sisi Quadri’s demise was confirmed by his colleague, Adekunle Abolade, popularly known as Dodo Ede, on his Facebook page, on Friday, March 1, 2024.

Abolade wrote; “Rest in Peace Sisi Quadri. I watched Anikulapo Series early this morning and saw him died in the film, so he will die in real life today
😭 May Allah grant him Aljanat Fridauz 🙏.”

The sad news was also made known by some of his colleague, Tunde Olayusuf, who via his Instagram page, shared a photo of him as he announced the sad news.

He noted how everything in the world is according to the will of Allah and as we come from Him, so shall we return to Him. He prayed for God to rest his soul.

“Everything in the world is according to the will of Allah, from Allah we have come and unto him we shall all return. May God rest your soul”.

This news is shocking as there were no reports of being ill.

The likes of Muyiwa Ademola, Folorunsho Adeola, Bukola Adeeyo, Oba K Solo, and Mercy Ebosele also reacted to the sad news.

Sisi Quadri a veteran comic Nollywood actor died barely a year after his mother’s burial.

“You were the best friend I have ever had mom. You will always be in my heart. I can’t believe you’re no more. I miss you, mummy,” he had mourned his mother who died on Wednesday, February 23, 2024.

The established actor came into the limelight after his role in the movie “Seniyan Seranko” produced in 2004.

He later took a long break and made his comeback in the hit comic movie, “Ebudola” alongside his best friend, Funmi Awelewa in 2020, which instantly shot him into the limelight.

He is also present in the newly released Netflix series Anikulapu: The Rise of the Spectre.”

Oyebamiji was a native of Iwo, Osun State, and was born on December 26, 1979
