BREAKING: Governor Ademola Adeleke has, at last, relocated to the government house after a period of one year and four months.
Approximately one year and four months after assuming leadership of Osun State, Governor Ademola Adeleke has finally relocated to Okefia Government House in Osogbo, the official residence of the governor.
To recall, Adeleke took his oath of office on Sunday, November 27, 2022, and instead of moving directly into the Government House, he resided in his home in Ede, Osun State.
Despite criticisms from the opposition party, Adeleke remained unperturbed and often conducted state affairs from his residence, citing ongoing renovations at the Government House as the reason.
In a statement on Sunday, the spokesperson for the executive Governor of Osun State, Olawale Rasheed, announced that following the completion of the renovations, the governor has officially opened the Government House and has now relocated to the premises.
