The Federal Government has pushed back the closing date for its ongoing paramilitary recruitment exercise under the Ministry of Interior.

It was initially slated to end on Monday, August 4, 2025, the application window will now stay open until Monday, August 11, 2025.

The Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Major General Abdulmalik Jibrin (retd), confirmed the extension in a statement on Sunday.

According to Jibrin, the adjustment is aimed at giving more Nigerians the chance to apply for positions within any of the services or the Board.

He reminded applicants that the official recruitment portal remains https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.

Jibrin also reaffirmed the Board’s dedication to a transparent and fair process, stressing that “the recruitment is completely free of charge.”
